Cleaning Of Mill Pinion And Crown Gears

The efficient and economical operation of the mills in Mining is based on proper maintenance and a convenient lubrication system of the whole pinion/crown. So it is important to monitor the area of the teeth in order to verify the condition and rate of wearing, the existence of cracks, lubrication conditions, contact temperatures, etc. Some inspections can be carried out during operation, but in others cases the grease must be removed through a cleaning method. This usually leads to stop the equipment and wash the surface of the set with the consequent loss of production. Global NDT provides a cleaning method during operation with products that include extreme pressure lubricants, which ensures the integrity of the surface during the process.

Main Applications
